When taking measurements for this dress, we recommend paying attention to bust and rib cage measurements. Waist and hip measurements are not as important for Emma because of the higher waisted cut. Emma is an excellent dress for all figures because it is loose in the stomach and waist. This makes it comfortable, free flowing, and easy to wear. We recommend Emma for bridesmaids who are expecting because the fullness in the waistline is great for maternity wear.
We recommend that pregnant women go up two sizes, depending on the stage of pregnancy. Emma can be hemmed to your desired length, and additional fabric is available if needed to add to the waistline and/or sides.

Emma is made from a crinkle chiffon fabric which is comfortable to wear and similar in quality to silk, but much easier to clean and care for. This dress is dry clean optional, but can also be washed regularly at home on a delicate cycle.
